Laiba is truly delighted to step back into her role as SLT Alternate Representative for her final year at Stuy. Within the SU, she has served on the Clubs & Pubs Department and Junior Caucus’s Events team. Beyond that, she is highly dedicated to ARISTA’s Operations Committee, founded StuySplash, leads both StuyMED and the Women’s Self Defense Club, and is an active BigSib and SNHS member. Through all of this, Laiba has always looked for ways to create spaces where students feel supported, and she’s excited to bring that same energy back into the SLT— representing the student body and ensuring every voice is heard. Outside of school, you can find Laiba sipping boba with her friends, grabbing Dave’s, and spending time with her 18-month-old baby brother.
